Prep the fruit. Rinse and pat dry your berries. If using strawberries, hull and slice them.
If your fruit is tart, toss with a teaspoon of sugar or a squeeze of lemon to balance it.
Sweeten the yogurt. In a mixing bowl, whisk the Greek yogurt with honey or maple syrup, vanilla, a pinch of salt, and lemon zest if using. Taste and adjust sweetness. You want it lightly sweet, not sugary.
Add brightness. Stir in a teaspoon or two of lemon juice if you like a little tang.
It lifts the flavor and balances richer toppings like chocolate or nuts.
Create layers. For single servings, add a spoonful of granola or crushed biscuits to the bottom of a glass. Top with a few berries. Spoon in a generous layer of the yogurt mixture.
Repeat until you reach the top, finishing with fruit.
Finish with texture. Sprinkle granola, nuts, or coconut on top right before serving so it stays crunchy. Add chocolate shavings or a drizzle of honey if you want extra flair.
Chill briefly. If time allows, chill the glasses for 15–30 minutes. The flavors meld and the yogurt sets slightly for a cleaner scoop.
Serve. Enjoy it as is, or pair with hot tea or coffee for a balanced finish to a meal.
